Am I the only one really excited about this week's theme!?!?
I just love recommending books to people, especially less-popular ones. So take notes people, the following books are super awesome!
1 - If you liked Anna and the French Kiss, you will like Sometimes it Happens
Both MCs are starting their senior year of high school and both books are contemporary stories dealing with impossible love.
2 - If you liked the Divergent series, chances are you'll love The Program!
A futuristic setting? A controlling government? A strong female MC? You'll find all of those in both of these wonderful books!
3 - If you liked any of Neil Gaiman's book, all of his other ones will be perfect for you.
Coraline and The Graveyard Book are Neil's two children's book and they both have this creepy atmosphere to them that really captivates you!
4 - Liked The Alchemyst? Why not try Fablehaven?
Siblings protagonists and crazy adventures are what you'll get in both of these great series!
5 - You've read or seen It's Kind of a Funny Story, you will love Cracked!
This one's for my friends who enjoy reading stories dealing with more intense subjects such as mental illness, with a bit of humor to lift the mood once in a while.
6 - If you liked The Fill in Boyfriend, you'll like Going Vintage!
Both of our protagonist go through tough breakups, but try to deal with it in the best way possible, making us laugh and root for them all through the book!
7 - You loved Thirteen Reasons Why? Hate List is right up your alley!
Death, more precisely suicide, is never an easy subject to discuss and yet, both of these authors manage to tell two beautiful stories about it.
8 - You've read and enjoy Hex Hall, Dark Vision is next!
School for students with special abilities? Check! Awesome female characters? Check! Amazingness all around? Check!
9 - You fell head over heels in love with The Lord of The Rings series, you will fall head over heals in love with The Discworld series!
These series are fantasy at its greatest! Exceptional world building, extremely well developed characters; your imagination will go wild!
10 - If you liked the Shadow Falls series, you will like the Darkest Powers series!
It's hard being the different one; especially in a group of supernatural beings. Both heroines are on a quest to find out the truth. Oh, and did I mention the yummy love triangles?
There you go! I hope I gave you some idea for your next book!
Have any recommendations for me?
