Hi, everyone! *waves*

I am so excited to be here today! This week, I'm launching my brand new Etsy shop, Bookish Serendipity Co, where I sell affordable bookish jewellery, such as necklaces and earrings.

I've always been a big reader, so it made sense for me to combine my love for jewellery-making and books to create my ultimate project: Bookish Serendipity Co. I've been working on my product line and launch for the past few months, which is why I am so excited for this to finally be happening!

I almost can't believe it. I'm here today to bring you a guest post. The lovely Sophie suggested that I should design outfits inspired by a Bookish Serendipity Co piece, which was a really great idea! I'm not particularly fashion-forward, but I did have a blast putting this together. You'll have to let me know what you think!

This outfit is based on my Shadow & Bone pendant necklace.

First off, we have a faux leather biker jacket. If you've read Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo, you know how fierce Alina (the main character) was. I think this jacket really suits her personality. If she popped into today's world, I could totally picture her wearing this! The fur collar is also a nod to one of the main symbols throughout the series. The jacket itself is from Dorothy Perkins, and you can find it here

I paired the tough jacket with these patterned leggings from Blue Inc. I think they're super cute! The colour scheme reminds me of the covers of the Shadow & Bone series, as well as the overall mood from the story. I'm not exactly sure why, but it seems to make sense to me! Thoughts?

The leggings and the faux leather jacket are pretty memorable, so I decided to do some more neutral items for the rest of the outfit. For example, the shirt is just a plain grey t-shirt from Hudson's Bay. I also really like these boots (they match the leather jacket!). They're from Aldo, and you can find them here

The entire outfit is based around Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo, which I based a Bookish Serendipity Co necklace on. The necklace, of course, can be seen on the image above. This was one of my absolute favourite pieces to make, and I am incredibly proud to be launching my Etsy shop. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Bookish Serendipity Co. Thanks again to Sophie for hosting me here at her blog!
